This tutorial covers the different strategies that can be used by ISPs and content providers to enable IPv6 in their core and network access infrastructures. Emphasis is placed on ensuring that the deployments follow sound security practices and enumerate operational tradeoffs between varying models. The tutorial covers areas including addressing architectures, varying tunneling and translation technologies and mobility considerations. The session also includes an update of the latest work in the IETF.
